            <p id="isPasted">This role sits within UUKi&rsquo;s Policy and Global Engagement (PaGE) team. The PaGE team leads UUK&rsquo;s international policy work across a wide range of areas including Global Research &amp; Innovation, International Mobility, and Transnational Education (TNE). Alongside this, our global engagement work also helps ensure UK universities have access to key stakeholders in partner countries from around the world. The team also collaborates closely with colleagues in the Partnerships and External Affairs (PEA) team to create impactful research, insights, publications and events.</p><p>The Policy Officer (Europe) acts as UUKi&rsquo;s principal policy expert for the European region. This is an exciting opportunity to work with international stakeholders, government officials, and policymakers, while developing regional expertise to support the global ambitions of our members.</p><p>In this role, you will provide high-quality information, advice, and guidance; build and maintain strong relationships with the higher education sector; and engage with policymakers in the UK, the EU, and across Europe. You will work collaboratively across UUKi&rsquo;s core priority areas to support the organisation&rsquo;s international policy objectives.</p><p>Interviews are expected to take place on Wednesday 22 July 2026.</p><p>Due to active reviewing of submitted applications, this advertisement may close before the scheduled deadline. The team also collaborates closely with colleagues in the Partnerships and External Affairs (PEA) team to create impactful research, insights, publications and events.</p><p>This is an important role which brings together two important areas of university international activities &ndash; TNE and responsible internationalisation. You will have a mixed portfolio covering UUKi&rsquo;s work supporting members to sustainably grow their TNE provision around the world, while also working with the sector to ensure that our international partnerships and collaborations are safe, secure, and trusted.&nbsp;</p><p>As part of UUKi&rsquo;s Policy and Global Engagement team, you will have the opportunity to work with international stakeholders, government officials, and policymakers, while building your expertise and professional profile across two important areas of UUKi&rsquo;s work.
